How do you create engaging, creative Pilates classes while staying true to the principles that define the method?
This workshop explores the art of class planning through thoughtful sequencing, guiding participants in building classes that progress toward an advanced Pilates exercise without losing the essence of Pilates. We’ll examine how creativity can deepen, rather than replace, the method, using purposeful movement choices that maintain clarity, flow, and intention.
Together, we’ll use one advanced Pilates exercise as a case study to explore how intelligent sequencing can prepare clients for more complex movement while remaining true to the principles of Pilates.
A central focus will be on accessibility and layering, giving instructors practical strategies for teaching mixed-level classes. Learn how to offer meaningful progressions and regressions so every participant can work toward the same movement goal while feeling appropriately challenged and supported.
Whether you’re looking to refresh your programming or deepen your understanding of intelligent class design, this workshop will provide a practical and inspiring approach to creating classes that are both innovative and authentically Pilates.

During her first pregnancy in 2023, Cécile developed a deep passion for pre- and postnatal movement after personally experiencing how Pilates supported her changing body, recovery, and return to movement. She went on to become a PCES (Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist) and pursued further training in pelvic floor function and diastasis recti.
